Stormwater Management and Water Storage Rebate Program

Jackson Soil and Water Conservation District offers a rebate program to support residents in implementing stormwater management and water storage projects. The goal is to streamline the planning process and promote  solutions that reduce runoff and conserve water.

Eligible Project Types
This program supports the installation of the following features:

  • Bioswales
  • Rain gardens
  • Rainwater harvest systems

Funding Available

  • Up to $5,000 per project (amounts vary depending on project).
  • Funds are reimbursed upon project completion.

Application Windows
Applications are accepted on a quarterly basis, as funds are available. Submission deadlines are:

  • October 15
  • January 15
  • April 15
  • July 15

Eligibility Requirements

  • The program is open to all Jackson County residents.
  • A site visit is required to determine project eligibility.
  • An application must be approved before a project begins.

Contact Kora Mousseaux at Jackson SWCD to schedule a site visit and determine program eligibility. After this assessment, application paperwork will be directly sent to you.
